Peter Dingman focuses his practice on real estate matters; he drafts contracts, deeds, and loan documents, reviews and analyzes title issues, assists with transactions, forms limited liability companies and other ownership vehicles, and advises commercial real estate owners, closely held entities, individuals, and fiduciaries.

When necessary, he handles related litigation seeking cost effective resolutions which serve his clients’ interests.

Peter has practiced law in Virginia for more than 45 years, appearing in courts throughout the Commonwealth. He has been a partner/shareholder of the Firm since its founding in March 1997. Previously, he was a partner in three other Alexandria based firms, with Ken Labowitz, and one state-wide firm, without Ken.

For over 30 years, Peter has been a volunteer with the Virginia State Bar disciplinary system, serving a term as Chair of the Disciplinary Board (which has authority to suspend or revoke a lawyer’s license) and more recently as Chair of the Committee on Lawyer Discipline (which has responsibility for oversight of the disciplinary process).
